Schedule is Friday-Sunday 7a-3p   The Respite Site Specialist will provide rehabilitation and stabilization support services to persons with mental illness being served at the Respite site in a manner that promotes growth, independence and dignity.    BAMSI's Respite Services program delivers short term, clinical, community based treatment services providing opportunities for stabilization to adults with Mental Illness. These services are provided to individuals either on-site while they reside at the program, or in their current living situation. Components of the program include assessment, crisis management, symptom management, and medication education.   Must have a high school diploma or GED. Previous experience working with individuals with mental health issues is preferred. Must have a valid driver's license in state of residence and own means of transportation. Part Time   General Statement of Duties: Provide direct one-to-one support and advocacy to youth in the FEP program. Ensure ‘youth voice’ throughout the care planning process.  Are you someone with lived experience or treated someone with a serious mental health and/or substance misuse disorder and willing to serve in a peer role?    The Coordinated Specialty Care - First Episode Psychosis (FEP) Team at BAMSI serves youth in the Brockton community who are experiencing a first-time psychotic episode or who may be at risk of later developing a psychotic episode by providing them comprehensive, community-based wraparound services. As a team, we walk alongside the youth and family towards a path of holistic wellness and thriving. Our model is to first provide early intervention through human, relational engagement. Using a culturally aware, recovery oriented and strengths-based approach, we respectfully collaborate to destigmatize mental illness and instill hope for a successful recovery. This will encompass uniquely tailored services according to the identified needs of the youth and family based on the clinical assessment. Through shared decision making, an evidenced-based treatment plan is developed.   40 hours Schedule:  Fri-Tues: 3p-11p $18.50 hr !!!!   Residential Counselors in our ACCS Intensive Behavioral Residential Program provide rehabilitation services to persons being served whom have transitioned from state hospital, who require intensive supervision and treatment due to mental illness as well as challenging behavioral issues such as physical assault, problematic sexual behavior, and behaviors resulting from intellectual disabilities. Our community based Group Living Environments (GLE) are designed to improve the quality of life and support the recovery process of adults with mental illness. The dedicated staff members provide support in the areas including monitoring individuals for personal safety, personal finance, and van transportation while helping individuals achieve their Individual Action Plans (IAP) ! Staff members engage the residents in a variety of stimulating, therapeutic activities to build cognitive, physical, and social skills.Persons served are also encouraged to become active members of their communities including engaging in employment, volunteer activities as well as social and recreational activities.   High School Diploma or GED is required. Must have a valid driver's license in state of residence and satisfactory driving record.
