Therapeutic Mentors at BAMSI provide individualized and flexible services to youth and their families with multiple stresses and needs. These services are designed to maximize individuals skills and strengths and provide the support to facilitate growth and independence. All services are part of an individualized plan as designed by the family and provider system. The Home Based Team (HBT) engages youth and families by providing needed supports and highly individualized services in order to help strengthen families as they progress toward their goals, reduce child protective concerns, and encourage resiliency, empowerment, and self-sufficiency. In-Home therapy services is a structured, consistent, strength-based therapeutic relationship between a Clinician and the youth and family for the purpose of treating the youth's behavioral needs. Clinical services and assessments offer support to youth and families challenged by various emotional and physical stressors. High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree is preferred.  Experience working with children and families with significant mental health and/or behavioral challenges or experience parenting children with behavioral, emotional or neurological challenges required. Part Time:  5-20 hrs per week   The Teacher Aide will assist therapists in groups and/or individual treatment settings, set up individual and group services at Children's Community Center, and assist with billing functions as needed.     General Statement of Duties:  Maintain overall responsibility for the administrative integrity of the CBHI Level of Care provided at HBT.  Develop and maintain an integrated network of services and supports for children and families that is strengths-focused, family-centered, community-based and inclusive of parents in all aspects of service design and delivery. Coordinate all clinical and other treatment services as well as brokering informal supports and broad community involvement. Provide customized, wraparound support services to families with children who are emotionally disturbed.  Supervise, recruit and train all resource and support staff.
