$2000 New Hire sign on when hired at BAMSI for all regular Full Time and Part Time LPN and RN Positions!   24 hours Schedule:Sat & Sun 7a-3p; Mon 3p-11p    Weekend shifts worked are paid at a $2 differential equaling $26/hr. Nurses at BAMSI are in a unique position to provide care for individuals served in their home, in the community and with their friends. Our community based group homes for adults with complex medical needs, developmental disabilities, acquired brain injury and/or mental illness are designed to support individuals in a large comfortable home setting. Persons served are also encouraged to become active members of their communities including engaging in employment, volunteer activities as well as social and recreational activities. Our homes house 3-8 individuals each providing opportunity to build relationship with those that you care for and their families.   Must possess a Massachusetts license as a nurse and  experience working with a disabled population is preferred. A valid driver's license in state of residence and satisfactory driving record is required. Must be currently certified in CPR.   BAMSI provides free CEU's through Medcom, education through conferences and trainings, weekend differentials and competitive pay!  Paid comprehensive introductory and on-going training is provided. The ACCS will replace Community Based Flexible Supports (CBFS) and will deliver evidence based interventions within the context of a standardized, clinically focused model.   Must be a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA): Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Registered Nurse, Licensed Psychologist, Registered Occupational Therapist, or Licensed Rehabilitation Counselor. Experience working with people who have been diagnosed with a serious or persistent mental illness is required. This position requires the ability to manage complex and competing demands in the office and in the field on a daily basis and provides daily support and advocacy to parents and caregivers (up to 18 families), in a fast pace and changing environment ensuring the families' voice is heard. The Community Service Agency (CSA) of the Brockton Area is designed to support families of children with serious emotional disturbance (SED) and assist them to gain a sense of competency in parenting a youth with serious emotional challenges. The CSA seeks to reduce the use of inpatient services and long-term residential care, as well as involvement with the juvenile justice system.   Must have experience as a parent/caregiver of a youth with special needs, and preferably a youth with mental health needs. A valid driver's license in state of residence and own means of transportation is required.   Must meet one of the following criteria: - High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 2 years experience working with children/adolescents/transition age youth. - Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in a human servcie field and 1 year of experience working with children/adolescents/transition age youth.
