Overview

Flexible Schedule - up to 40 hours

 

Clinicians at Early Intervention provide counseling, advocacy, casework to families of children with developmental disabilities.

  • Master’s Degree required.
  • Experience coordinating social services for high-risk families with infants and toddlers 0-3 years desired.
  • Experience facilitating parent support groups of 0-3 population desired.
  • Experience with low incidence population desired.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license in state of residence.
  • Bilingual speaking desired

Responsibilities

 

  1. Participate in intake evaluations as well as the development of Individual Family Service Plans.
  2. Provide home and center based case management and therapeutic services.
  3. Fulfill system record keeping requirements.
  4. Participate in staff meetings, supervision and training along with other staff development activities.
  5. Perform casework duties with families.
  6. Provide support and assistance to parents regarding financial issues, advocacy concerns, and community awareness.
  7. Work with community resources and referral sources for children and families, providing input and/or consultation to other agencies to aid in defining needs.
  8. Provide social work consultation and education to staff members regarding general or case specific psychosocial issues.
  9. Lead parent support/educational groups.
  10. Perform duties to reflect reasonable safety standards. Universal/standard precautions must be utilized and training obtained in areas that constitute risk.
  11. Perform duties in accordance with agency/program policies and procedures.
  12. Perform other related work duties as needed or assigned by supervisor or designee.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:

  • Master’s Degree required.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license in state of residence.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience coordinating social services for high-risk families with infants and toddlers 0-3 years desired.
  • Experience facilitating parent support groups of 0-3 population desired.
  • Experience with low incidence population desired.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Bilingual speaking desired.
