BAMSI is a private, non-profit culturally diverse human services organization providing services to adults and children with developmental disabilities, mental illness, behavioral health, and public health needs. BAMSI is currently seeking 2 Volunteer Medical Practitioners (RN, LPN, MD) for our Human Rights Committees in Foxboro and Brockton

 

 

Responsibilities

The Human Rights Committee is a volunteer group of community members.  The committee meets every other month to review program documents such as Behavior Plans, Restraints, Supportive & Protective Agreements, and materials related to Investigations of human rights complaints, in order to affirm, promote, and protect the human and civil rights of the individuals with disabilities we serve.  Each member also conducts at least 5 site visits to our program locations

Qualifications

 

Volunteers must be passionate about working to affirm, promote and protect the human rights of persons with disabilities!
